4: Payment details.

Please make sure your payment gets to us by the 1st of the month.

For regular orders we encourage you to pay by standing order if possible. Standing orders allow us to plan ahead and keep administration costs down. They are easy for you to change or cancel at any time and most banks will arrange or amend them over the phone or online.

I will pay by standing order (regular orders) / bank transfer (one month trial).

You will need our bank details to set up a bank transfer or standing order (S.O.). Unlike a Direct Debit, you control all details of a S.O. and must contact your bank with these details and the amount you need to pay each month. Our bank details are available here, and are also given on screen once you have completed this form and sent it to us.

Name of the account holder (we need this to identify your payment on our bank statements):
For regular orders, on what date will you arrange the first standing order payment (we prefer you to arrange standing orders for the 1st of the month)?

I will pay by cheque, payable to "Growing Communities".

Please send cheques to the address at the bottom of this page. If you are not the account holder, please print your name and address on the back.

5: Your details.

    Name:
    Postal Address:
Email address (we will only use your details to send you irregular information about Growing Communities):
    Telephone number:

6: Holiday policy.

When Growing Communities sets the prices for the bags (which are worked out anually and averaged out over each monthly), we assume that everyone on the box scheme will go on holiday for 4 weeks each year; and our prices reflect this. If we didn't do this, prices would be higher.

If you go away for just 4 weeks a year, then you will not have paid for produce that you are not receiving. If you go for away for longer than 4 weeks, and you let us know in advance, we can refund you for each week over the standard 4 weeks that you do not want your bags.

Please let us know whenever you go away - by the Thursday of the week preceding your holiday - so we don't order wasted produce. Or, if you wish, you may arrange for a friend or neighbour to collect your bags while you?re away and try the box scheme for themselves. If you do this, you don't need to let us know.

Click the box to indicate that you have read, understood and accept the holiday policy and will let us know by the Thursday before you go away.

7: Marketing monitoring.

Please tell us how you heard about our box scheme:

8: Final steps.

  • Within a few days, we will contact you to acknowledge your order - normally by email. Please add growingcommunities.org or nicki.east@growingcommunities.org to your address book or anti-spam 'whitelist' to ensure our emails don't get mistakenly identifed as spam.. Do call us if you do not hear from us within a few days.
  • In the meantime you will need to set up your standing order / bank transfer or send us a cheque.
  • A few days before your first bags are ready for collection, you will contact you again to confirm your pick up details, to make sure you are definitely starting your order and to ensure your payments are in place.
  • If everything is confirmed, you can come to collect your first bag on Wed 3 Mar.
  • Please help us by completing the optional, anonymous monitoring questionnaire. We will process your order even if you do not complete the monitoring questions.
