Learning Garden at Growing Communities
One of our patchwork sites - Allens' Gardens - offers fantastic opportunities to the local community and external groups for learning more about food growing.
Equipped with a small eco-classroom, compost loo and kitchenette, our GC team is available to offer bespoke tutorials to groups ranging from schools to adults.
We also offer a school package which involves an interactive tour and activities based around food growing and seasonality - we always have two teachers at each session and offer 1.5 hour workshops for up to 30 pupils. We can see 3 classes a day. It costs £250 per day. Contact us if you want more info or if you want to book: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also contact us should you want to use the space for your own growing activities as we're keen to increase access to this wonderful resource: email@example.com
Please note the garden is always open on Mondays as this is our volunteering and harvesting day for GC's veg bag scheme - feel free to pop by and say hello to our Patchwork Farmer, Giovanni.
