Kaki Fruit Salsa
Kaki fruit, also known as sharon fruit or persimmon, has a unique taste - a subtle, juicy mix of papaya and peach. Try it in a salsa for a sweet and spicy contrast. Serves 3-4.
- 2 Kaki fruit
- 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- 1/2 red or white onion, finely minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup coriander, finely chopped
- salt to taste
Wash, peel and chop kaki fruit. Combine with other ingredients in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
